Martin Cox

Martin Cox has extensive experience in audit and finance, having held significant roles in various organizations. Starting as an Audit Supervisor at Spicer & Oppenheim (Touche Ross) from 1986 to 1990, Martin transitioned to a Management Accountant position at Peabody Fine Foods from 1991 to 1992. Subsequently, Martin served as Head of Internal Audit at The Big Food Group and then Booker plc from 1992 to 2006. Martin's expertise further developed as Director of Internal Audit and Risk Management at Kingfisher plc between 2007 and 2011. Martin’s journey continued at BP, assuming multiple roles including Pensions and Insurance Finance Senior Manager since September 2019, and contributing to various significant projects related to finance management and internal controls. Martin is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, having completed education at The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and earned a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
