Matt Cox is currently the EC&I Engineering team lead at BP, having joined the company in 2025. Prior to this role, Matt served as an EC&I Integrity Engineer at BP from 2005 to 2010 and spent a decade at Perenco as an Electrical Engineer from 2010 to 2020. Matt completed a Bachelor of Engineering from The Open University, graduating in 2015 with a 2.1. Additionally, they undertook an advanced modern apprenticeship in electrical maintenance.
