Matthew Jurik

Matthew Jurik is a Senior Geoscientist with over twenty years of experience in upstream business lines, including Production, Exploration, and Development. They have worked extensively across global hydrocarbon basins, such as the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, and South America, with expertise in subsurface characterization, reservoir management, and well planning. Matthew's recent roles include serving as a Geoscientist at ExxonMobil and as a Senior Geologist at bp, where they led the Thunderhorse New Well Solutions Squad. They hold an M.S. in Geology from the University of New Orleans and a BS in Earth & Planetary Sciences from The University of New Mexico.
