Melissa Blanscet has extensive experience in project management and engineering within the oil and gas industry. From 1980 to 1983, Melissa served as a Project Engineer at Exxon Company USA. Following this, a Project Manager role at McMoran Offshore was held from 1983 to 1986. From 1987 to 2000, Melissa worked as a Facility Engineering Advisor at Mobil Oil. Afterward, Melissa became a Project Director at BHP Billiton from April 2003 to July 2010, leading the Angostura Gas capital project in Trinidad & Tobago. Subsequently, Melissa took on the role of OBO Projects Director at BHP Billiton Petroleum from July 2010 to May 2011, overseeing global upstream petroleum major capital projects operated by others. Currently, Melissa holds the position of Vice President OBO at BP since 2011.
