Michael Atkinson

Michael Atkinson is an experienced program manager currently overseeing card operations and strategic card opportunities at bp since January 2022. Prior to this role, Michael served as Head of Network Partnerships and Product & Network Manager at FLEETCOR, contributing to the simplification and automation of business payment processes across Australasia. Michael's earlier roles include Operations Manager at Associated Metalworks, General Manager at both Megabus and United Card (United Petroleum), and Systems and Operations Director at Retail Decisions. Michael started the career as a Pricing Analyst/Technical Support at Thompson's, Kelly & Lewis Pty Ltd. Michael holds a Foundations of General Management degree from Macquarie Business School, a Microsoft Certified Professional qualification, and an Associate Diploma in Information Technology from Casey Institute of TAFE.
