Michael Meegan

Michael Meegan is currently the Indigenous Engagement Manager at bp, leveraging over 20 years of legal expertise across various sectors. They served as Chief Executive Officer of the Western Desert Lands Aboriginal Corporation and as Principal Legal Officer at the Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation, one of Australia's largest native title representative bodies. Michael's previous experience includes roles as Senior Lawyer at the Goldfields Land and Sea Council and Chief Executive Officer at Relationships Australia Northern Territory. They hold degrees in Jurisprudence and Law from The University of Western Australia and are currently enrolled in a Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
