Min Zhang

Min Zhang is a specialized Modeling Engineer in Applied Sciences at bp since June 2021, focusing on innovative multi-physics computational models and machine learning to address engineering challenges in traditional oil, gas, and low-carbon initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as a Computational Scientist in HPC and at bp, where Zhang developed advanced workflows for multiphase CFD and digital rock applications. Earlier, as a Solution Consultant at Dassault Systèmes, Zhang created a multiscale digital rock workflow for shale resources. Educational credentials include a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from China University of Petroleum (East China).
