Mohammed Issa

Drilling Engineer

Mohammed Issa is an experienced Drilling Engineer at bp, with a tenure beginning in October 2015, where responsibilities include planning and executing drilling activities for the ACG field complex and overseeing innovative techniques such as the mudline whipstock method. Mohammed has provided real-time support from the Remote Collaboration Centre for multiple offshore rig operations and has executed significant drilling initiatives, including the first Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) well on Clair Ridge. Leadership capabilities are demonstrated through leading the North Sea Graduate Committee, while technical expertise is further reflected in roles involving subsea well interventions and offshore execution tasks. Prior experience includes internships as a Drilling Engineer and Production Engineer, supplemented by an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology and an MEng in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Manchester.
