Neil Mason

Neil Mason has extensive experience in telecommunications, beginning with a role as a Project Engineer at Schlumberger, where responsibilities included providing onshore support for offshore telecommunications infrastructure. Following that, Neil served as a Senior Telecoms Technician at Nessco Ltd, focusing on the installation and commissioning of telecoms and networking equipment offshore, and later worked as a Telecoms Technician at Wood Group PSN, maintaining and upgrading communication equipment onboard. In 2015, Neil was promoted to Lead Telecoms Commissioning Tech at BP, overseeing commissioning work scopes, and previously contributed as a Telecoms Commissioning Tech on the Clair Ridge project. Educational qualifications include a BTEC in Ground Communications obtained through an RAF Apprenticeship and a mathematics and science background from Whitley Bay High School.
