Pamela Olvera

Pamela Olvera is a professional with over 10 years of experience in the oil and power sectors, specializing in government relations, regulatory affairs, and stakeholder management. Currently, they serve as the External Affairs & Communications Manager at BP Mexico, with a notable previous role as Regulatory Affairs Manager at AES Mexico/EnerAB. Pamela has held various positions in the public sector, including roles at the Energy Regulatory Commission, the Federal Electricity Commission, and the Ministry of Energy in Mexico. In academia, they participated as Chair of the BP - Anahuac Program on Strategic Studies and taught Energy Security at Universidad Anáhuac México Norte. Pamela holds a Master's degree in International Energy and Resource Policy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and has completed postgraduate courses at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University.
