Pat Simons

Pat Simons is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as VP of Turnarounds and Outages and Downstream Global Projects Director at bp since June 2019. With a career that began at ARCO Rocky Mountain Remediation in 1996, Simons advanced through various roles including Environmental Engineer and Water Compliance and Remediation Engineer at ARCO Los Angeles Refinery. Experience was further developed at BP Cherry Point Refinery, where positions included Projects and Turnarounds Manager and Operations Superintendent, among others. Simons’ diverse background also includes roles such as Energy Engineer and Alkylation Complex Engineer at BP Carson Refinery. A graduate of Montana Tech of the University of Montana, Simons holds a BS in Environmental Engineering.
