Patrick Pakel has over 30 years of experience in human resources and technology management, currently serving as the People & Culture (HR) Technology Portfolio Owner at bp since February 2006. In this role, Patrick focuses on nurturing high-performing teams and supporting bp's success. Previous positions include Global HR Application Service Manager, overseeing a portfolio of approximately 130 HR applications, and SAP Service Delivery Manager, leading a team responsible for design and support. Prior to bp, Patrick worked at IBM in various project management and HR roles, beginning in May 1989. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Cornell University.
