Peter Wilbur

Peter Wilbur is a highly experienced legal professional specializing in energy trading and corporate law. At BP since 2002, Peter serves as Senior Counsel, addressing legal issues related to domestic and international energy products trading, as well as regulatory matters under the Commodity Exchange Act and Dodd-Frank. Prior to this role, Peter worked at BP from 1987 to 2002, focusing on acquisitions, divestitures, and serving as division counsel for various business units. Peter's legal career began at Sohio between 1982 and 1987, where responsibilities included acquisitions and serving as division counsel for petrochemicals and solar business units.
