Pria Young

Pria Young is a seasoned professional with extensive experience at bp since September 2013, holding several key roles in the petrochemicals and electric vehicle sectors. Currently serving as Business Advisor to the Senior VP of Emerging Markets, Portfolio & Integration, Pria has also excelled as Commercial Lead for Strategic Partnerships and New Business Execution at bp pulse, focusing on accelerating the transition to electric vehicles through strategic partnerships and due diligence for inorganic transactions. Previous roles include Sales Manager and Sustainability Projects Manager, where Pria led negotiations for multi-year supply contracts and launched a sustainability roadmap for the European Acetyls business. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and English from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Additionally, Pria has contributed to policy discussions as a Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Fellow at The National Academies.
