Raudel Vela

Raudel Vela is an engineering, operations, and maintenance leader with diverse experience in the energy industry, encompassing chemicals, refining, power generation, and offshore production. Currently serving as the Engineering Assurance Manager for bp, they lead assurance processes to enhance safety and operational risk management. Previously, Raudel held various positions at bp and Marathon Petroleum Corporation, including Reliability Engineering Manager and Area Team Leader, where they successfully managed teams and projects, optimized maintenance strategies, and drove operational improvements. Raudel earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
