René Winter

René Winter is an Exploration and Appraisal Geoscientist specializing in sedimentology and stratigraphy of marine and deepwater siliciclastic systems. With extensive experience at BP, René held various roles including Sr. Geologist for Gulf of Mexico Exploration and Sedimentologist at the Exploration Technology Center. Additionally, René focuses on basin evolution dynamics as a Doctoral Student studying the Controls and Mechanisms of Deepwater Sedimentation at Different Scales at The University of Texas at Austin. They have managed subsurface projects across North, Central, and South America, the Caribbean, West Africa, and Eastern Europe, showcasing a robust skill set in geological analysis and reservoir characterization.
