Richard Murray is a seasoned Senior Level Leader with over 27 years of extensive experience in the energy sector, primarily focusing on oil and gas major projects. Currently serving as a Commissioning & Start Up Manager for the Net Zero Teesside and Northern Endurance Partnership Power and Carbon Capture projects, Richard has successfully managed significant projects across multiple continents. Richard’s previous roles include Offshore Project Manager and Commissioning Engineer at bp, as well as a Commissioning Engineer at AMEC. Richard holds an MSc in Control & Electronics with distinction and a BEng (Hons) in Instrumentation & Control, both from Teesside University.
