Robert Pharris

Mechanical Engineer

Robert Pharris is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the wind energy sector, currently employed at BP Wind Energy since March 2013, where responsibilities include continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and technical support for a large fleet of wind turbines. Prior to BP Wind Energy, Robert served as Technical Lead in Mechanical Reliability Engineering at Clipper Windpower since September 2007, focusing on root cause analysis, structural health monitoring, and new product introductions. Earlier roles include Project Engineer positions at Colorado Civil Consultants and Loris and Associates, and Staff Engineer at City of Steamboat Springs, contributing to civil projects and water system models. Robert began his career as a Project Engineer at AMEC Environment & Infrastructure UK Limited, co-authoring a significant technical report on drought effects on water supply. Robert holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University.
