Ryan Jones

Ryan Jones is an experienced meteorologist with a strong background in various forecasting sectors. Currently employed at BP since March 2019, Ryan specializes in meteorological applications related to energy. Prior to this role, Ryan served as a meteorologist at Gazprom Marketing & Trading from December 2013 to March 2019, where responsibilities included developing European gas consumption and renewable forecasts, along with tropical cyclone monitoring and various model analyses. Earlier experience includes a position as a marine forecaster at Fugro, where Ryan gained expertise in global land, aviation, and marine forecasts, catering to sectors such as construction and maritime operations. Ryan holds a BSc (hons) in Meteorology from the University of Reading, earned between 2004 and 2008.
