Saad Siddique

Saad Siddique is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as the Head of Technical Accounting for bp's downstream segment since January 2018. In this role, Saad oversees technical accounting for customers and products, focusing on complex accounting and transaction structuring in areas such as refining, electric vehicles, biofuels, and aviation. Previously, Saad held positions at bp including Technical Accounting Senior Advisor for M&A and Accounting Policy Adviser, providing critical technical expertise on significant transactions exceeding $30 billion and ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting policies. Before joining bp, Saad was a Senior Manager in PwC UK’s Accounting Consulting Services, specializing in revenue recognition and financial statement presentation, after progressing through various roles at PwC UK and a brief secondment at PwC Australia. Saad holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Warwick.
