Sam Townsend

Sam Townsend is an experienced professional with a background in digital transformation and business management. Currently serving as Principal of Digital Transformation at BP since October 2010 and as Director at DEEDPLOT LIMITED since January 2019, Sam has developed a strong expertise in leading digital initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as IS Department Manager at General Mills from 2003 to 2010. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with honors in Chemistry from The University of Manchester and an MBA from The Open University, as well as a certificate from INSEAD. Educational background also includes attendance at King Edwards School from 1987 to 1994.
