Scot King is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in information technology and alternative energy, currently serving as the Director of Alternative Energy & Corporate Functions at bp since September 2020. With a long tenure at BP from 1999 to 2020, Scot held multiple senior positions including Director of Information Technology and Data Management Operations, where responsibilities included leading IT operations for the Gulf Coast Restoration Organization and managing significant operational budgets. Previous roles encompassed managing IT service operations globally, overseeing safety and operational integrity strategies, and driving significant cost savings and efficiency improvements through technology transformations. Prior experience at Amoco Production Company included program management in IT implementations and geological operations.
