Shakeel Ahmad is a Petroleum Engineering Discipline Leader with over 20 years of experience in managing green and mature assets across various geographical locations. Currently leading the petroleum engineering discipline at bp, Shakeel has previously held roles such as Reservoir & Well Reliability Lead and Senior Petroleum Engineer at the same company. Prior to bp, Shakeel worked with Maersk Oil North Sea UK Limited as a Senior Petroleum Engineer and began their career at Orient Petroleum Inc as a Petroleum Engineer. Shakeel earned a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and an Engineer’s Degree from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
