Sian Herrington

Sian Herrington is the Senior Manager of Crisis and Continuity Management at bp, where they focus on developing and maintaining crisis and continuity capabilities. Sian has over 10 years of marine environmental experience and a PhD in Marine Science. Previously, Sian held key roles at SpillConsult Ltd, the Australian Marine Oil Spill Centre, and Oil Spill Response Ltd, providing expert oil spill advice and incident management support. Their academic background includes a MSc in Oceanography from the University of Southampton and a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Nottingham. Additionally, Sian serves as a Charity Trustee for the Geoff Herrington Foundation, supporting disadvantaged youth.
