Simphiwe Mhlongo is currently a Senior Manager in Logistics, Transport & Joint Ventures at bp, where they lead strategic initiatives in the energy sector. With extensive experience in business strategy, project management, and commercial optimization, Simphiwe has previously held key roles at SAPREF and dss+, focusing on capital project development and operational risk management. A board member of the Durban Single Buoy Mooring and active participant in various refinery governance committees, Simphiwe also possesses strong competencies in strategy formulation and refining technical support. Simphiwe is furthering their education with an MBA at Wits Business School and a BTech at Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
