Sophie Thomas is a versatile senior leader in human resources with a strong background in strategic talent management, development, and organisational effectiveness. With experience in both private and state-owned enterprises, they have worked across diverse industries, including Financial, ICT, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, and Oil & Gas, and have a global footprint spanning Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Having held significant roles at organizations such as Kimberly-Clark, Absa, and HEINEKEN Beverages, Sophie continues to build capability in talent and culture as the Head of HR at HEINEKEN and in their role at BP. Sophie holds a Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management from the University of South Africa and a BComm in Banking from Damelin.
