Stephen Hogg

Stephen Hogg is an experienced geospatial data professional with a strong background in geospatial strategy development and data analysis. Currently serving as the Geospatial Data Team Lead at BP since October 2019, Stephen has a proven track record in enhancing exploration decision-making through innovative spatial data management and software implementation. Prior roles include Senior GIS Analyst at Nord Stream 2 AG and Senior Geospatial Analyst at Dana Petroleum Plc, where responsibilities included delivering specialized geospatial solutions. Stephen's career began at Acergy as a Hydrographic Surveyor, and prior to that, significant experience was gained at Shell as a Geo-Information Consultant and Analyst. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Geographical Information Systems from The University of Edinburgh and a BSc (Hons) in Topographic Science from the University of Glasgow.
