Tim Harris

Tim Harris is a Senior Motorsport Technologist at bp, with extensive experience in providing operational and analytical support at Formula 1 events. Since September 2017, Tim has represented bp and Castrol, ensuring FIA compliance and enhancing car performance for the Alpine F1 team. Previously, Tim developed bespoke fuels and lubricants for key motorsport partners, focusing on performance and reliability. Tim's earlier roles include projects as a Graduate Automotive Engineer, with notable achievements in data management for fuel testing, along with engineering positions at MBDA, and tutoring experience in mathematics. Tim holds an MSc in Applied Data Science from the University of Buckingham and an MEng in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bristol, complemented by study abroad experience at UC San Diego.
