Walter Rietveld

Walter Rietveld is a Seismic Delivery Manager at bp, currently working in the UK while regularly spending weekends in the Netherlands. Educated at Delft University of Technology, Walter earned both a PhD in Geophysics and an MSc in Physics. With a diverse professional background, Walter has held various roles at Amoco and bp across multiple countries including the USA, UK, and Egypt. Notably, Walter served as a Technical Programme Officer for the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers from 2012 to 2018, managing technical programs for its annual conference.
