Xian Chen

Xian Chen is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Managing Counsel for BP in China since January 2020, overseeing the legal affairs of various BP business segments including Castrol and Aviation. Xian has extensive experience within BP, having held roles such as Leading Legal Counsel of Lubricants China and Legal Counsel for various projects and compliance matters. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Alcoa, Legal Counsel at 塞拉尼斯, and Legal Consultant at 美迈斯, where expertise encompassed M&A, joint ventures, compliance, and labor law. Xian holds an LLM in Business from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA from The University of Manchester, and a Bachelor of Laws from Fudan University.
