Derek Schumm is currently serving as the Medical Director of the Geropsych Unit at Sutter Health since July 2013. Prior to this, Derek worked as a Psychiatrist at Bay Psychiatric Associates from December 2012. With previous experience as a Psychiatrist at Sierra Tucson from February 2009 to October 2012. Derek holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center (2005) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Biology from The University of Kansas (1999).
