Prataap Patrose

Senior Advisor at Boston Planning & Development Agency

Prataap Patrose is the Senior Advisor to Chief Jemison. He advises the Chief and senior BPDA staff on all internal and external issues and projects. Prataap brings a depth of experience and knowledge to his role from his 38 years at the BPDA, serving in various capacities, including 10 years as head of the Urban Design department and 6 years as Senior Advisor on Long Term Planning. At the start of his career, he was the recipient of the Boston Redevelopment Authority's award for excellence in 1986, and more recently he was the recipient of the 2010 Henry L. Shattuck public service award. He received his Master’s degree in Environmental Design from MIT in 1984, after receiving a Bachelor of Architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture in India.
