Malcolm Lai

Mr. Lai joined BPEA in 2013 and is responsible for various technical and risk management matters relating to the Firm’s real estate investments. Mr. Lai previously worked at Invesco Real Estate from 2011 to 2013 where he was the Head of Development & Construction overseeing projects in the Invesco Asia Funds. Prior to AIG’s Asian real estate business unit being divested to Invesco Real Estate, Mr. Lai worked at AIG Global Real Estate from 1997 to 2010 where he set up the Development & Construction Department and managed a regional team.

Mr. Lai received his Masters of Project Management from the University of South Australia and his Bachelor of Architecture and his Bachelor of Applied Science from Curtin University, Western Australia. He is a Chartered Architect and is registered with the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects). Mr. Lai is fluent in English & Cantonese.
