Shane Predeek

Mr. Predeek joined BPEA in 2006 from Ripplewood Japan (“RHJI”). Mr. Predeek has extensive experience in both investment banking and private equity in Japan. During his tenure at Ripplewood, Mr. Predeek was responsible for the origination and execution of transactions in Japan, and assisted in the public listing of Ripplewood’s Japan portfolio, which generated US$500 million for future investments. Prior to joining Ripplewood, Mr. Predeek worked with Wasserstein Perella & Co. in Japan (which was renamed Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein post acquisition by Dresdner Bank), where he was responsible for M&A and restructuring activities. Mr. Predeek has over 20 years of experience in Japan, and is fluent in Japanese.

Mr. Predeek received a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and holds an M.A. from Waseda University.
