Erik Daugherty

Erik Daugherty, MSc., LEED-AP HOMES, serves as a Subject Matter Expert at Building Performance Institute, Inc. since April 2024 and is the Owner of E3 INNOVATE, LLC, which was founded in February 2008. E3 INNOVATE, LLC represents the first company in the Mid-South to offer integrated performance-based packages that combine comprehensive energy modeling, testing, consulting, and in-house home-performance services. Erik holds advisory roles on the USGBC Tennessee Market Leadership Advisory Board and the Advisory Board for the Tennessee Housing Development Agency, focusing on energy efficiency in residential construction. Erik has also contributed to the USGBC Middle-Tn Chapter and the new USGBC Tennessee Chapter, emphasizing strategic planning and marketing. Additional experience includes being a Climate Project Presenter, a member of several boards including the Trust for the Future, and past roles in energy efficiency consulting and renewable energy research. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in International Sustainable Development from Lund University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Southern Adventist University.
