John Russert

John Russert has extensive work experience in various leadership and executive roles. John started their career in the United States Army as a Captain in the Transportation Corps from 1965 to 1971. John then worked as the Director of Corporate Training and Development at H.C. Prange Company, where they were responsible for organization development and management training.

In 1977, Russert joined Verex Corporation as the Vice President of Human Resources & Administration. In this role, they were a member of the senior management team and oversaw HR and administration functions across multiple locations.

From 1989 to 1992, Russert served as the Corporate Director of Human Resources at The NutraSweet Company. John then joined Valley Bank as the Vice President of Human Resources, where they played a key role in establishing the bank's presence in the southeast Wisconsin market.

In 1993, Russert joined The Derson Group as the Vice President of Executive Outplacement and Executive Coaching. John led a team of professionals and managed program services at multiple office locations.

From 2003 to 2007, Russert worked at Scherer Schneider Paulick (SSP) BPI group as the Site Manager. After the merger with BPI group, they provided overall direction for job search processes and supporting services in senior level transition programs.

Since 2008, Russert has been working as the Director of Executive Outplacement Services and an Executive Coach at BPI group. John helps individuals seeking diverse career options and offers creative solutions for their career transitions.

Throughout their career, Russert has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of HR consulting, executive coaching, and career management.

John Russert attended St. Norbert College from 1961 to 1965, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a focus on ROTC. In September 2009, they obtained a certification as a Career Management Fellow (CMF) from the Institute of Career Certification International (ICCI).
