Vanaf 2008 zijn Bibliotheken Leiden & Leiderdorp, Leidse Volksuniversiteit K&O, Het Leidse Volkshuis, Muziekschool Leiden en Omstreken samen verder gegaan onder de naam Bibliotheek plus Centrum voor kunst en cultuur, kortweg BplusC.

BplusC is een dynamische organisatie die iedereen in Leiden, Leiderdorp, Oegstgeest, Voorschoten en Wassenaar een mooi, veelzijdig en compleet aanbod biedt. Onder het motto ‘een leven lang leren’ zorgen wij voor een programma vol kennis, ontwikkeling, maatschappij, kunst en cultuur.
