Michael S. Schaffer

Michael S. Schaffer, CPA, serves as the Managing Director of Tax at BPM LLP since June 2011, where expertise includes consulting on tax compliance for various organizations and individual tax planning, as well as providing advisory services in relation to tax authorities. Previously, Michael served as Treasurer for Hillel of Silicon Valley from July 2012 to June 2014, contributing to a supportive environment for Jewish students. Additionally, Michael was a member of the Board of Directors at Congregation Beth David from February 2003 to August 2012, promoting accessible worship and Jewish learning. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Tax from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Northridge.
