Mark Michiels

Mark Michiels is the Chief Human Resources Officer and a member of the Executive Committee at bpost, a role they have held since October 2007. Michiels holds a Licence in Law and a Special Licence in Social Legislation from Vrije Universiteit Brussels, completed in 1980 and 1981, respectively. Prior to joining bpost, Michiels served as HR Director at Electrabel from 1981 to 1995, followed by roles as Deputy Chief of Staff in two federal ministries between 1995 and 2001. They began their career at bpost in 2001 as HR Director Mail and later became Union Relations Director and Director HR Local.
