Doing biomedical research into infectious diseases and neurodegenerative diseases, BPRC contributes to better heath worldwide. Research is also required to identify and develop alternatives to the use of non-human primates. We have an active and expanding programme to develop alternatives following the principles of reduction, refinement and replacement.

BPRC is a non-profit organization.

Corporal social responsibility (CSR) has a high priority at BPRC. We are e.g. certified for responsible environmental policy (ISO 14001/2004) and are international recognized for animal welfare policy (AAALAC).
