Ashley Flitter

Ashley Flitter has over 15 years of experience in various industries. In 2007, they began their own consulting business, Ashley Flitter Consulting, as a marketing and operations consultant. That same year, they also began working as a composition instructor at Minnesota State University, Mankato. In 2006, they worked as a document and data specialist and QA inspector at Quadris Medical. In 2014, they started working as a product manager at TapGenes and in 2016, they began working as a product manager at Genivity. In 2017, they joined Br8kthru Consulting as Vice President of Operations and Director of Operations + Client Engagement. In their current role, they serve as a senior project manager for key Br8kthru accounts and provides daily support to the Br8kthru team. Ashley is also a textbook author, having written "Technical Communication Essentials" (2022) and "Technical Communication Field Guide" (2019). Additionally, they are an adjunct instructor in the English Department at Minnesota State University, where they teach multiple sections of Intro to Technical Communication each semester.

Ashley Flitter obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & English from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2006. Ashley then continued their studies at Minnesota State University, Mankato and obtained their M.A. in English - Technical Communication in 2010. Additionally, Ashley Flitter is a certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant from AFPA.
