Isabel Whisson serves as the Chief of Staff for the Ultra-Poor Graduation Initiative and the Head of Policy and Research for the Climate Hub at BRAC International since October 2021. With a diverse background in strategy and policy, Isabel has played a pivotal role in building a climate policy engagement function, fostering advocacy strategies, and managing high-level multi-forum engagements. Prior experience at BRAC includes roles focusing on strategy development, fundraising, and technical assistance for initiatives tackling extreme poverty. Isabel’s early career features roles focused on communications, research, and public policy at various organizations, including UNESCO and the UK Parliament. Isabel holds a Master of Science in International Public Policy from UCL and a BA in Politics from SOAS University of London, complemented by a Certificate from the Cambridge Rising Women Leaders Programme.
