Ariful Islam

Ariful Islam is currently the Chief Financial Officer at BRAC University since December 2020. Prior to this, Ariful served in various finance and directorial roles at British American Tobacco for over two decades, with notable positions held in various countries including Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Fiji, and Vietnam. Ariful began their career at BAT Bangladesh in 1997 and progressed to roles such as Finance Director and Operations Finance Controller. Ariful holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Institute of Business Administration, Dhaka University, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Calcutta.
