Muhammad Ferdaus

Muhammad Ferdaus currently serves as a Senior Lecturer and Program Coordinator for Postgraduate Programs in Disaster Management at BRAC University, where responsibility encompasses teaching and academic leadership within the Department of Disaster Management and Environmental Studies. As Director of the Cell for Adaptation, Resilience, Security, and Humanitarian Assistance (CARSHA), Muhammad facilitates research and collaboration initiatives focused on disaster management. Additionally, roles include Cyber Convention Expert at UNODC and Country Representative for Healthcare Information For All (HIFA). Muhammad has held various advisory and faculty positions, including at the Defence Services Command and Staff College and Community Development for Peace, and is involved in the Avoidable Deaths Network and National Security Intelligence as Regional Coordinator and Honorary Senior Research Fellow, respectively. With extensive academic credentials, including ongoing studies at the University of Birmingham, Muhammad possesses significant expertise in disaster management, humanitarian assistance, and international development.
