Afrida Fairuz is a professional with significant experience in the field of microfinance and nuclear science. Currently serving as a Deputy Manager at BRAC within the Business Development Unit of Microfinance since February 2023, Afrida's responsibilities include driving business development initiatives. Previously, Afrida held roles such as Management Trainee and Master Thesis Student at the University of Helsinki, focusing on Radwaste characterization in the context of deep geological repositories. Additional training at the Jožef Stefan Institute involved hands-on experience with radiochemical spectroscopic techniques and experimental reactor physics.
