Amit Sarker

Amit Sarker is an Associate Director at BRAC, bringing over 16 years of international experience in development finance across Asia and Africa, with a focus on microfinance, SME lending, and affordable housing solutions. They currently manage Bangladesh’s largest MSME portfolio, optimizing business strategy and driving digital transformation to promote inclusive growth. Amit's career began at BRAC in product development, progressing through various leadership roles, including significant contributions to microfinance operations in multiple African countries. They hold a BBA and an MBA from American International University-Bangladesh, as well as an MSc in Banking and Finance from Queen Mary, University of London.
