Ashley Toombs

Ashley Toombs currently serves as the Lead for Climate Change at BRAC and BRAC International, a role held since July 2022, focusing on managing a dedicated team to address the impacts of climate change on communities in poverty and drive funding towards localized solutions. Prior to this, Ashley held various positions at BRAC USA from July 2015 to July 2022, including Director of External Affairs, where oversight of significant donor fundraising initiatives was established, and management of a substantial portfolio covering diverse sectors such as climate change and human rights. Experience also includes work as a Philanthropy Coordinator at The Nature Conservancy, a Technical Facilitator and a Community-Based Environmental Management Volunteer Coordinator with the Peace Corps, and educational qualifications from institutions such as Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs and Fairfield University, emphasizing environmental policy and international studies.
