Dr Nargis Islam

Dr. Nargis Islam is a UK-based HCPC registered Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over two decades of experience in the NHS, international healthcare, and academia. Specializing in severe mental health conditions, Dr. Islam provides strategic leadership in mental healthcare systems, clinical research, and education. Currently, Dr. Islam serves as a Co-Chair for the Committee for Training in Clinical Psychology with The British Psychological Society and is a Senior Lecturer at Lancaster University. Dr. Islam is committed to advancing equitable mental health provisions and has actively contributed to various healthcare initiatives, including advisory roles in Bangladesh and the Rohingya camps. Their education includes multiple degrees in healthcare and leadership from esteemed institutions, including the University of Oxford.
