Rezaul Karim

Rezaul Karim currently serves as the Associate Director and Programme Head of the Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme at BRAC since June 2022, after holding the position of Programme Management Advisor within the same programme from February 2018 to February 2022. Previously, Rezaul was the Country Representative for BRAC International in South Sudan, overseeing a significant portfolio of programmes/projects with a substantial budget. Rezaul has extensive experience in disaster management, having provided strategic and operational guidance to enhance disaster risk management practices across Bangladesh. A key member of the Programme Management Unit at BRAC, Rezaul has managed large teams and diverse portfolios in various sectors including Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), demonstrating a career dedicated to improving community health and resilience. Rezaul holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Applied Community Change and a Bachelor's in Arts from the University of Dhaka.
