Saidur Rahman

Saidur Rahman is an experienced procurement professional currently serving as the Head of Procurement at BRAC since May 2016, overseeing a team of 56 and managing an extensive supplier network with an annual purchasing budget of approximately $XX million. Prior to this role, Saidur held the position of Deputy Manager Indirect Sourcing at banglalink from September 2008 to April 2016, where responsibilities included leading IT, Admin, and HR procurement with a $25 million budget. Earlier experience includes roles at sanofi-aventis Bangladesh Limited as Sr. Officer Procurement, responsible for foreign procurement and SAP management, and at Holcim as Executive Procurement, handling all procurement activities for the Head Office. Saidur began a career in procurement at R. M. Group of Industries as Assistant Manager, focusing on policy-making and inventory management. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English from Dhaka Commerce College, completed in 2003, along with secondary and higher secondary education in science.
